A 150 kW solar power plant was built at the main pumping station of the Voznesensk waterworks, which covers up to 30% of the electricity needs to supply the city with water.

This was reported in the press service of the Voznesensk City Council.

During the period from April to August 2024, the new solar plant produced 118,320 kW of electricity, which is about a thousand kW per day.

The plant helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions and dependence on traditional energy sources, while ensuring an uninterrupted water supply in the event of power outages.

The project was financed by BMZ, SECO and GIZ within the framework of the energy efficiency program in Ukraine.
