The South Ukraine NPP has passed an inspection for readiness for winter loads

The Commission of Energoatom and the State Energy Inspectorate of Ukraine checked the readiness of the South Ukraine NPP for winter loads.

As reported in the press service of the nuclear power plant, there were certain comments after the inspection, but some of them have already been eliminated.

It is noted that 193 organizational and technical measures were carried out in preparation for the seasonal decrease in temperature. This includes works on revision, repair and maintenance of equipment, engineering networks of heating, water supply, sewage, ventilation.

«South Ukraine NPP has completed a significant amount of work. As of the beginning of October, 100% of the planned organizational and technical measures were implemented. The enterprise is ready for the autumn-winter period. During the inspection, there were certain comments, but some of them have already been eliminated, the rest are being worked on, because it takes a little more time,» said Petro Zanyborshch, head of the NAEC Energoatom commission for checking the readiness of the PANPP for winter operation.

We will remind that on October 2, the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant concluded an agreement for the construction of engineering protection of critical elements of the plant for 595 million hryvnias.
