A new block-modular boiler house was launched in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv last year.
This was announced by Mykola Logvinov, director of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivoblteploenergo», during a briefing at the Mykolaiv City Council on Thursday, 6 February, NikVesti reports.
According to him, the funds for the boiler house were provided by donors from Denmark, but certain construction work and connections were carried out by employees of «Mykolaivoblteploenergo».
«This boiler house was provided by donors, the Danish government, through the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). However, some of the construction and connection work was carried out by our company. Since March last year, the boiler house has been operating as normal, in full automatic mode», says Mykola Lohvinov.
Earlier, Mykola Lohvinov said that «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» is ready to provide heating in the homes of citizens during power outages, as all boiler houses of the company are equipped with the necessary generators.
We would also like to remind you that during the blackout, more than 92% of Mykolaiv residents were provided with constant heating. The problems with heating were caused by logistical difficulties and the need for rational use of resources.
