Mykolaivoblteploenergo is ready to provide heating in the homes of citizens during power outages, as the boiler plants are equipped with the necessary generators.
But it is not yet known when the generators of Oblteploenergo plan to be put into operation, Mykola Lohvinov, director of the utility company, said in a comment to NikVesti.
«We have generators. All large boiler houses are equipped with generators, they are refueled. Therefore, as soon as there is a team, we will launch it. But now the temperature outside is positive and the houses are still warm. Therefore, there is no point in starting the generators. We will look at the weather forecast. There is an action plan, it has been developed, and we will work,» said Mykola Lohvinov.
According to him, thanks to generators, boiler companies can provide heat to the homes of Mykolaiv residents «as much as needed», but not around the clock.
«They will work three days, four days, and ten days — as long as it takes. But they will not work around the clock, because this is a very large fuel consumption. And the resource of generators is also not unlimited, but there is an action plan so that the people of the service will be quite comfortable,» he added.
Shelling of the energy industry on November 28
In the morning of November 28, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with missiles and attack drones. Explosions rang out in several regions, in particular — in the Mykolaiv region.
Due to this, emergency power cuts were introduced in the region. Emergency workers reported disruptions on special lines «101» and «112» in the Mykolaiv region.
At the same time, trolleybuses and trams do not run in Mykolaiv, and Mykolaivpastrans released an additional number of buses №91.
On the railway, sections of the railway have been de-energized due to shelling by the Russians — some trains are moving with a delay.
