Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has shifted its focus from energy to logistics. Photo: Volodymyr Zelenskyy, FacebookLast night, Russian troops did not attack Ukraine's energy facilities, but instead focused on strikes against logistics.
This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
At the same time, he noted that on 29 January, energy facilities in several regions were under fire from Russia. According to the president, the Russian army is currently changing its tactics and striking logistics infrastructure and residential buildings.
In particular, in the Kharkiv region, the Russians launched a ballistic strike on the warehouses of an American company. The Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions with drones. The situation remains tense in the border areas of Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also instructed the Minister of Defence and the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force to strengthen protection against drones in the area between Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
«Last year, the General Staff made relevant decisions, which have only been partially implemented to date. I have instructed them to conduct an appropriate inspection and present response measures,» the president said.
Recall that Donald Trump said yesterday that he personally asked Vladimir Putin not to attack Ukraine «for a week» because of the cold weather.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that there were no direct agreements between Ukraine and Russia to stop attacks on energy infrastructure. However, according to him, this issue is being discussed in various forums, including during contacts in Abu Dhabi.
