The sea corridor to/from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi, which is provided by Ukraine, has started working around the clock.

This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Yurii Vaskov, writes CTS.

The possibility of ships passing through the corridor at night will increase the volume of sea exports by at least 20%.

We will remind that since the start of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, more than a thousand ships have passed through it, transporting almost 31 million tons. In December-February, the volume of exports through the corridor increased significantly.

Earlier, the president said that Ukraine will receive warships that will accompany vessels in the «grain corridor».

As you know, in the waters of the sea ports «Mykolaiv» and «Olvia» as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine , 29 commercial cargo ships remained blocked, none of which are under the flag of the Republic of Turkey, but 6 of them have Turkish ship owners, and 1 — a Turkish management company.

Later, Vitalii Kim said that these ships are preparing to leave their places of stay.
