temporary housing for displaced people in Mykolaiv Oblast

Modular houses are prefabricated temporary homes set up in Mykolaiv Oblast for displaced people and residents who lost their homes to shelling. In April 2026 there were modular towns in 8 communities of the region, but their residents cannot get the heating subsidy, so the regional council asked the Cabinet of Ministers to compensate electricity costs. Mykolaiv City Council twice refused land for modular houses on Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue and approved it in August 2026.
