Destruction waste refers to the remnants of building materials and structures resulting from the damage or demolition of buildings and facilities during hostilities, terrorist acts, or other emergencies. These include fragments of concrete, bricks, metal, wood, glass, and other materials.

In Ukraine, due to military aggression, the volume of destruction waste has reached significant levels. Estimates suggest that this waste is comparable to the annual amount of municipal solid waste generated in the country.

To effectively manage destruction waste, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a procedure outlining mechanisms for its collection, transportation, processing, and disposal.
