Ukrainian state body in charge of privatisation

The State Property Fund of Ukraine is the state body that sells state-owned enterprises and property at auctions. Since January 2026 it has been headed by Dmytro Natalukha, appointed by the Verkhovna Rada. For Mykolaiv, the Fund’s main story is the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant confiscated from Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska: in June 2026 its starting price was put at about ₴6.3 billion, in October the auction was moved to early 2027, and it is still undecided whether the sludge fields will be sold together with the plant. In 2024, 19 state-owned objects were privatised in the Mykolaiv region for ₴37.6 million, the highest figure since 2009.

MykVisti follows the privatisation of the plant and its sludge storage problem, and sales of state property in the Mykolaiv Oblast.
