Mykola Lohvinov, director of the utility company «Mykolaivoblteploenergo», considers «City for People» to be the most problematic management company in the city.

He said this during a briefing on 2 December, according to NikVesti.

The journalists asked him to comment on the information that appeared in the Mykolaiv media and to answer whether the regional heating company really has problems with an insufficient amount of heat carrier, which is why some residential buildings do not have heating.

«One company said that (the regional heating company) lacks capacity — «City for people». This is not true. Boiler houses operate according to temperature schedules. Most boiler houses that have been modernised do not use hourly outage schedules. That is, they are working,» said Mykola Lohvinov.

He also added that management companies and condominiums should prepare their buildings for the heating season, for example, by conducting hydraulic tests.

«Unfortunately, most companies have not received any certificates of readiness. Every year we have the same story. For some reason, management companies and condominiums believe that preparing buildings for the heating season is a requirement of the heat supply organisation. There is no need to do hydraulics, no need to break through the system. But there are standards. Therefore, it cannot be that in one building everything is fine and ready, while in another it is not, and the heat carrier is less. This is not true. You can make an inquiry, we have the journals,» said Lohvinov.

He answered the journalist's question about the most problematic management company in Mykolaiv, which, in his opinion, is the most problematic: «City for People».

«This is one of the largest companies. So, of course, there are the most appeals with problems with heat supply. We have very poor communication with them — no contact. While we have normal communication with most companies, it is very difficult with them,» added Lohvinov.

As a reminder, from time to time Mykolaiv residents complain about the management company «City for People». In particular, residents of an apartment building at 340 Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue said they had informed the company that they had changed the manager, but they refused to accept correspondence and continued to charge service fees. And the company «City for People Mykolaiv» stated that they had not received an official notice of termination of the contract with the building.

At the same time, in Mykolaiv, due to the confrontation between two management companies — «Pivden» and «City for People» — and lawsuits, residents of an apartment building at 53 Kosmonavtiv Street had their bank accounts blocked.

Residents of a building at 35a Teatralna Street in Mykolaiv are also sounding the alarm over ongoing sewage problems, which they say are destroying the building. Residents say they have repeatedly contacted the management company «City for People» and «Mykolaivvodokanal», but have seen no real action, apart from promises.
