There are already 468 reconstruction projects of the Mykolaiv region in the DREAM state digital recovery management ecosystem. 37.70 billion hryvnias will be needed for their implementation.
Such data as of October 19 were published in the DREAM digital system.
It is noted that currently there are 5.68 billion hryvnias out of the necessary 37.70 billion hryvnias for the implementation of reconstruction projects in the region.
The Mykolaiv community took first place in terms of the number of reconstruction projects entered into the system. Currently, 254 projects with a total estimated budget of 18.1 billion hryvnias are registered there. However, the available funding currently amounts to only 2.46 billion hryvnias.
Restoration of the Mykolaiv Oblast
As of February 2024, more than 30% of infrastructure facilities in the Mykolaiv region have been restored. Hospitals and bridges have been restored the most, and the residential sector the least.
Last year, the Service for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure in the Mykolaiv Oblast concluded contracts for restoration and repair of facilities for 7.8 billion hryvnias. This is the fourth place in Ukraine in terms of the amount of auctions.
Among the objects to be restored is the bridge in Voznesensk, which is located on the highway H-24 «Blahovishchenske — Mykolaiv». It was destroyed last year during battles with Russian troops for the city.
This year, they plan to start work on the restoration of Mykolaiv airport, which was destroyed at the beginning of the Russian invasion.
Prior to that, 789 million hryvnias were allocated from the state budget for the reconstruction of 16 objects damaged by shelling in Mykolaiv region as part of the fund for liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression. During the inspections, the State Audit Service found a number of violations in tender purchases for some of them.
As of April 1, 98 reconstruction projects of the Mykolaiv region were included in the DREAM state digital recovery management ecosystem.
As of May 2024, the pace of reconstruction of the Mykolaiv region has slowed down. Currently, 30% of the region has been restored, mostly critical infrastructure facilities.
On September 17, 2024, Ukraine received the 4th and 5th packages of financial assistance from Denmark in the amount of 64 million euros, 44 of which will be received by the Mykolaiv region.
