Ukraine receives €55 million from the EIB to rebuild infrastructure in 12 regions: Mykolaiv region among them

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has allocated €55 million to rebuild Ukraine's social infrastructure. Mykolaiv region will receive part of the funds.
This was reported on Facebook by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
The money will be used to restore hospitals, social housing, educational institutions, heating, water supply, sewage and critical social infrastructure.
In addition to Mykolaiv region, the funds will also be allocated to 151 facilities in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions.
The projects are managed by local authorities, and technical assistance is provided by the United Nations Development Programme to accelerate their implementation.
In 2024, Mykolaiv received 3.6 billion hryvnias in humanitarian and technical assistance from international partners.
