In Mykolaiv, on September 13, a personal photo exhibition of Slava Posiedai «Nevydymky» was solemnly opened for the City Day.
The exhibition of 51 photographs was presented in the Mykolaiv City Palace of Culture and Arts, the correspondent of NikVesti reports.
The author noted that the project introduces the viewer to the world of mosaics in order to see in them not only monumental art, but also a reflection of the common fate of Ukrainians.
«This exhibition is my research and my thoughts and, of course, my great love for photography, architecture and people. The idea of this exhibition appeared when I was walking with a friend, and we talked with her about the similarities and differences of the cities in which we live. That day I realized that it is very comfortable and simple to live in a city where there are many interesting and good things. Then I thought about Mykolaiv. And what else is hidden and invisible in Mykolaiv, for which I can love it even more powerfully, then I thought about mosaics. It is the mosaics that have such a meaning, they are a beautiful pattern in our city, but, unfortunately, we sometimes do not notice them,» said Slava Posiedai.
The Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych also visited the exhibition, who congratulated the author of the project and got acquainted with the photographs that tell about our city.
Slava Posiedai added that the mosaics, like the people in the photos, consist of many small fragments, each of which has its own unique place and meaning. Likewise, our state consists of millions of Ukrainians, each of whom is important and unique.
«I wanted to show with this exhibition that monumental art is as great and beautiful as the very essence of a person. I think a person is made up of many parts, because we are all different and unique. And the mosaic consists of many small fragments that are combined into a single whole. This is how we Ukrainians form Ukraine,» the author said.
The exhibition will last until September 28. Working days are from Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00. Sunday and Monday are closed. Admission for adults is 20 hryvnias, admission for children under 14 is 10 hryvnias, free for male and female defenders.
As a reminder, the Vinhranovskyi ART MARATHON cultural project will last three months in the Mykolaiv region. About 20 events dedicated to the figure of Mykola Vinhranovskyi are planned as part of this marathon.
