During 2023, the State Property Fund of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region received 18 million 195 thousand hryvnias from the lease of state property.
On Friday, January 19, during a briefing, the deputy head of the Regional Department of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Oleh Sokol, announced this , NikVesti reports.
According to Oleh Sokol, due to the full-scale invasion, the State Property Fund simplified the procedure for renting state and communal land to support business. Thus, tenants in the Mykolaiv region were exempted from rent until September 30, 2022, and from October 1, 2022, during the period of martial law and for three months after its end, tenants in the Mykolaiv region will be charged 50% of the rent.
«The regional branch has 50 lease contracts for state-owned objects, 16 of which are based on the results of auctions,» Oleh Sokol said.
Currently, there are 409 state property lease contracts in the Mykolaiv region, the Regional Office acts as the lessor for 357 state property lease contracts, of which 220 are commercial contracts, 137 are budget contracts.
According to him, the largest income from rent comes from the state enterprise Mykolaiv Sea Trade Port. However, from February 24, 2024 until the full resumption of commercial shipping, balance holders are exempt from rent.
We will remind you that during 2023, 8 state-owned objects were privatized in the Mykolaiv Region: revenues to the budget exceeded the pre-war figure by 3 times, they amounted to 14 million 122 thousand hryvnias.
Thus, the largest object that provided income to the budget is considered to be the recreation center «Pearl» in the village of Rybakivka. It was managed to be privatized for 6 million 260 thousand hryvnias, which is 3.2 times more than its starting price at the auction.
At the same time, it became known that the Office of the Regional Branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine plans to auction the building «House of Culture of the Portsmen» in Mykolaiv. However, this will happen under the condition that Mykolaiv will be excluded from the list of territories that are close to the bottom of the combat zone.
In addition, this year Mykolayiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych plans to propose to city council members the issue of privatization of communal property as an additional source of filling the budget of Mykolayiv, which will actually lose 2.7 billion hryvnias of «military personal income tax» that was withdrawn from the state budget this year.
Earlier it was reported that the government of Ukraine unblocked the process of privatization of state-owned objects in the Mykolaiv region.
