Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has focused its attacks on logistics and railways. Zelenskiy OfficialPresident Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian troops are not currently targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure with missiles and drones.
At the same time, they have focused on attacks on logistics, in particular on railways, the head of state said.
«Over the past 24 hours, there have been new Russian shelling of energy facilities in frontline and border communities, but there have been no targeted strikes by Russian missiles and Shaheds on energy infrastructure. As in previous days, the Russian army is focused on terrorising our logistics, primarily the railways,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
According to him, strikes were recorded, in particular, in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, specifically on railway facilities. The President also said that during a conference call, he gave specific instructions to the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, the Minister of Defence and the head of Ukrzaliznytsia, and expects results as early as the beginning of the week.
In addition, the President called for adjustments to the power outage schedules for part of the Odesa region, «given the large number of houses with electric heating».
Recall that Donald Trump said yesterday that he personally asked Vladimir Putin not to attack Ukraine «for a week» because of the cold weather.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that there were no direct agreements between Ukraine and Russia to stop attacks on energy infrastructure. However, according to him, this issue is being discussed in various forums, including during contacts in Abu Dhabi.
