In the Donetsk region of the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, the rate of evacuation has increased — 500-600 people leave every day.

Serhii Dobriak, the head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, said this, Radio Svoboda reports.

According to him, forced evacuation of children may be introduced in the city already this week.

«We had 13,700 children before the full-scale war. Now there are still 4,788 children left in the community, that is, a third still remain... I think that we will get to the point this week that we will also have forced removal of children,» said Serhii Dobriak.

According to him, approximately 60 percent of residents leave Pokrovsk on their own, using their own transport.

Serhii Dobriak also adds that, taking into account the timing of the advance of the Russian army, the residents of Pokrovsk have a week or two to evacuate. Currently, all services and services are working in Pokrovsk, but the head of the MBA predicts that their work will soon have to be stopped.

«As of today, everything is working in Pokrovsk, all services, fully. That is, water, electricity, gas, and public transport are running. And a store, markets, banks, a court, State Medical Center, etc. Everything works so far. But we understand that in a week, everything will be slowly winding down there,» he added.

Earlier it was reported that in the Sumy region, the evacuation of settlements located at a distance of 5 and 10 kilometers from the contact line continues, and restrictions on staying in the 20-kilometer zone are introduced.

Earlier, the head of the Yunakivka community, Olena Sima, spoke about the difficult situation in the Sumy region bordering the Russian Federation. Some residents refuse to evacuate, not wanting to leave their homes.
