One of the two power lines of the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP was cut off due to shelling by the Russians.
This was reported to the Ministry of Energy.
It is noted that currently the NPP is connected to the Ukrainian power system by only one power transmission line. Therefore, in the event of disconnection of this line, another complete blackout will occur at the Zaporizhzhia station, which is a serious violation of the conditions of safe operation and threatens the development of an accident.
It is also indicated that specialists have already started work on restoring the NPP power line.
We would like to remind you that on November 1, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) is being repaired due to a water leak.
In addition, in October, one of the two power transmission lines supplying the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) was again damaged by Russian shelling, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.
