The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the composition of the supervisory board of the joint-stock company NAEK Energoatom, which includes world-class experts in the energy industry.

This was reported by the Government portal and the press service of Energoatom.

«Competitive selection has been completed and the supervisory board of JSC «NAEK Energoatom» has been formed. The government approved the results of the selection of candidates, which were approved by the Committee for the appointment of managers of enterprises that are particularly important for the economy, on June 21,» the message reads.

According to the order, Timothy John Stone, Michael Elliott Kirst, Jarek Neverovych became independent members of the supervisory board of the Energoatom joint-stock company.

Also, at the request of the Ministry of Energy, the nomination committee approved Vitalii Petruk and Timofii Mylovanov as representatives of the state.

Earlier it was reported that components of small modular reactors will be produced in Ukraine.
