Mykolaiv schools may go on early vacation due to problems with the lack of electricity due to Russian attacks.

First Deputy Mayor of Mykolaiv Vitalii Lukov said this in the comments of NikVesti.

As you know, on the morning of November 28, the Russian army attacked the energy system of Ukraine. The sounds of explosions were heard, including in the Mykolaiv region. Currently, there are emergency shutdowns in the region.

According to Vitalii Lukov, educational institutions in the city are not functioning due to the threat. It is likely that a decision will be made to go on vacation. However, the final decision will be taken today during the meeting.

«Tomorrow we will make a decision about possible vacations, but for now it will be done remotely. Again, first of all, we are waiting for information from Ukrenergo, not from Oblenergo. Early vacations will be announced. It will be said today after 4 p.m. That is, parents need to keep in touch with class teachers. They will be informed,» said Vitalii Lukov.

Shelling of the energy industry on November 28

In the morning of November 28, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with missiles and attack drones. Explosions rang out in several regions, in particular — in the Mykolaiv region.

Due to this, emergency power cuts were introduced in the region. Emergency workers reported disruptions on special lines «101» and «112» in the Mykolaiv region.

At the same time, trolleybuses and trams do not run in Mykolaiv, and Mykolaivpastrans released an additional number of buses №91.

On the railway, sections of the railway have been de-energized due to shelling by the Russians — some trains are moving with a delay.

Mykolaivoblteploenergo said that they are ready to provide heating in the homes of citizens during power outages, as the boiler plants are equipped with the necessary generators.
