The Russian army has already killed 551 children in Ukraine

As of June 26, 551 Ukrainian children died at the hands of the Russian occupiers, and another 1,401 were injured.

This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is noted that these figures are not final. Work on their installation in places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, continues.

«More than 1,952 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of June 26, 2024, according to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 551 children died and more than 1,401 were injured of various degrees of severity,» the message reads.

The most affected children were in Donetsk Oblast — 547, Kharkiv Oblast — 395, Kherson Oblast — 152, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — 151, Kyiv Oblast — 130, Zaporizhia Oblast — 108, and Mykolaiv Oblast — 107.

We will remind that in one of the villages of the Kharkiv region on June 18, a boy was injured who picked up explosives and detonated them.
