President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed to pass on to international partners the Ukrainian intelligence information on the crash of the «Azerbaijan Airlines plane» and called for pressure on Russia to stop the spread of lies about the tragedy.
The President said this in his evening address.
«I have no doubt that the full truth about the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane can be established and that Russia will not be able to hide anything. We have already engaged partners who can be trusted, first and foremost, by Azerbaijan. Ukraine will provide all the assistance that is needed. And we urge everyone to support Azerbaijan in this situation. And every country — to put pressure on Russia to stop the lies about this disaster — the same lies as about MH-17, about the Boeing downed over Donetsk region,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyy also noted the heroism of the crew, who managed to bring the aircraft to the territory of Kazakhstan and rescued 29 passengers.
The President said that he had heard the intelligence report on the circumstances of the tragedy and the available facts and instructed to pass on all the data to international partners.
Azerbaijani plane crash in Kazakhstan
As you know, 38 people died in a plane crash near Aktau in Kazakhstan.

Later, there were media reports that the Embraer 190 passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines, which crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan, was shot down by a Russian surface-to-air missile.
Kazakhstan refused to comment on the statement regarding the holes in the skin of the Embraer 190 aircraft. Previously, it was speculated online that they could have been caused by shelling.
In addition, after the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane, three airlines from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Israel announced the suspension of flights to a number of Russian cities.
The flight attendant of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane, who survived the crash, shared details of what happened on board after the external strike and before the crash.
