«We would very much like President Trump to join it. And we have always consistently insisted that Europe must be at the table of possible future negotiations,» said Sybiha.

In addition, Andrii Sybiha confirmed that the Vatican is still being considered as a potential meeting venue, although Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called this scenario unrealistic.

At the same time, the Holy See has not yet made any official statement. This leaves open questions about its potential role in the diplomatic process.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the second round of peace talks with Ukraine would take place, and that Moscow was in the final stages of drafting a memorandum.
