193 points of invincibility: Kherson region prepares for winter

In Kherson region, 193 points of invincibility were equipped for the cold weather, of which 163 are already working.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson RMA, told about it.

According to him, the rest of the points are ready for opening at any moment. They are all equipped with generators, fuel, internet access, heating and hot drink facilities.

«Residents of the region will be able to come, warm up and contact their relatives. We survived last winter thanks to these points, and now we are also ready for the coming winter,» Prokudin noted.

Earlier it was reported that in Mykolaiv the list of points of invincibility  was updated, where residents can recharge their gadgets, use the Internet or warm up in the event of a long emergency power outage.

In addition, the head of Mykolayiv RMA Vitalii Kim said that in connection with frequent emergency power outages in August, about 400 unbreakable points are working in the Mykolayiv region.

We will remind, the head of Mykolaiv RMA Vitalii Kim said that the region is better prepared for the winter period than in previous seasons.

In addition, at the beginning of September, the situation with electricity supply in the Mykolaiv region stabilized, queues for power outages decreased.

Earlier, the health care department of the Mykolaiv region was told that solar panels will be installed in three more medical institutions of the region for autonomous operation in conditions of possible power outages.

In addition, it became known that the heating season in Southern Ukraine will start only when the average daily temperature stays at +8°C for three days.

Also, Mykolaivovblteploenergo reported that in the near future heating for the residents of Mykolaiv will not be started due to warm weather.
