The village of Posad Pokrovske in Kherson Oblast plans to restore 362 houses by the end of autumn 2025.
This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, the pace of reconstruction will be accelerated to meet the needs of people. So far, 220 destroyed buildings have been dismantled, tender procedures are underway, and new projects have been developed.
Recently, the Kherson Regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service announced six tenders for the construction of more than 200 new houses in the village.
Reconstruction of Posad-Pokrovske
The village of Posad-Pokrovske, located on the border of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, has been on the contact line for 8 months. Every day, the villagers counted between 350 and 500 arrivals.
In the spring of 2023, Posad-Pokrovske was included in a comprehensive reconstruction project. But the work was suspended in the summer of 2024.
But later it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers had again allocated money for the village's reconstruction. In total, 100 houses are planned to be restored in the village in 2025 with public funds.
As of January 2025, not a single house in Posad Pokrovske has been 100% restored. Most of the 120 objects that were being worked on are only 20% complete.
And in February 225, the head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Reconstruction and Development, Serhii Sukhomlyn, promised to show quick results in 2025 in rebuilding the village of Posad Pokrovske.
