In the Mykolaiv region, educational institutions of the Pervomayskyi district «overpaid» more than 170 thousand hryvnias for gas to the Lviv company. The money was returned through the court.

The prosecutor's office of the Mykolaiv region reported this.

It is noted that at the end of December 2020, the department of education, culture, sports and tourism of the Myhiia village council of the Pervomaisk region and the Lviv gas supply company concluded an agreement on the purchase of natural gas for the next year.

However, the terms of the contract were amended and 10 additional agreements were concluded, due to which the price of gas increased and the volume of supply decreased.

«The specified violations of the requirements of the legislation in the field of procurement during the conclusion of additional agreements to the procurement contract led to the complete leveling of the results of the auctions and the unjustified receipt of more than 170,000 hryvnias by the business entity,» the report reads.

In 2023, the Pervomaisk District Prosecutor's Office appealed to the court with a lawsuit, which was fully satisfied by the commercial court at the end of March 2024. Measures are now being taken to ensure the execution of the court decision.
