From July 1, the General Staff will publish a summary of the situation at the front three times a day

Starting today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will provide operational information about the Russian invasion three times a day. Prior to that, data on the situation on the front line was published five times a day.

This was stated by the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovalov on the air of the telethon, RBC-Ukraine cites.

«Today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is really switching to three-time briefing on the situation regarding the Russian invasion and the situation in the combat zone. Every day at 8 a.m. on the official pages of the General Staff, we will publish a summary of the course of hostilities and losses of the Russian occupiers over the past 24 hours,» he said.

Andrii Kovalov also called on Ukrainians to turn on the telethon every weekday at 08:00, as the spokespersons of the General Staff will provide operational information about the course of hostilities and losses of the occupiers.

«In the afternoon, on the official pages of the General Staff, we will publish an interim summary of the current situation at the front as of 4:00 p.m. At the end of the day, on the official pages of the General Staff, we will publish a summary of the general situation for the current day as of 22:00,» explained the spokesperson of the General Staff.

He added that, if necessary, the General Staff will publish separate express messages about landmark events related to repelling Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

It will be recalled that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the Ukrainian defense forces struck the places where the Russian «Shahed» drones were stored and prepared for use.
