Problems with drinking water in Mykolaiv. Archive photo NikVestiOver the past year, 43 kindergartens and schools in Mykolaiv have been equipped with wells with water purification systems.
This was announced by the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Sienkevych.
He noted that 35 secondary education institutions, seven kindergartens and one out-of-school education institution were provided with purified water from the wells. In addition, 59 institutions are equipped with water purification systems from water pipes, including 16 secondary schools and 43 kindergartens.
In 2025, Mykolaiv city authorities plan to increase funding for the «Available Water» programme to 80.7 million hryvnias, which is 16.5 million more than in 2024.
