Ukraine’s foreign ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine represents the country abroad and runs its embassies and consular services for Ukrainians overseas. As of June 2026 the ministry is headed by Andrii Sybiha. In January 2024 the then minister Dmytro Kuleba and the Danish foreign minister opened the chancellery of the Danish embassy in Mykolaiv. In January 2025 Ukrainian sailors were freed from captivity in Yemen after an operation by military intelligence and the Foreign Ministry, and their families met them in Odesa.

MykVisti covers the ministry’s statements on the war and peace talks, consular news for Ukrainians abroad, including passports and documents, and visits by foreign diplomats to southern Ukraine.
