More than ₴1 billion: Cabinet of Ministers allocates additional funds for drones for the military

The Ministry of Defense is allocating an additional 1.1 billion hryvnias for additional purchases of drones. The funds will go directly to military brigades.

As reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, a total of 4.3 billion hryvnias will be transferred directly to the military this month.

«The Ministry of Defense is allocating an additional 1.1 billion hryvnias for the purchase of drones. These are funds that will go directly to the brigades so that they can quickly cover the most important needs. In total, this month the Ministry of Defense will directly transfer 4.3 billion hryvnias to military brigades,» he said.

According to him, over 11 months, direct funding amounts to 27.2 billion hryvnias.

The Cabinet of Ministers reported that in the first 10 months of this year it spent 229 billion hryvnias on the purchase of military equipment, weapons, ammunition, defense products, personal protective equipment, and food for the Security and Defense Forces.

It was previously reported that the Drone Coalition, which unites 17 partner countries, will allocate 1.8 billion euros to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
