Communities in the Mykolaiv region have received five mobile clinics purchased under the «Special Support Programme for Ukraine/EU4ResilientRegions» with funding from the German government.
According to the Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration, the new outpatient clinics were handed over to the Bashtanka, Domanivka, Berezanka, Veselynivka and Kazanka hospitals.
The mobile clinics, equipped with modern medical equipment, are fitted with air conditioning, ventilation, heaters, water tanks, generators and batteries for backup power, which allows them to operate in remote areas. The clinics are also equipped with hydraulic lifts and ramps for barrier-free access for people with limited mobility.

Yuliia Gruber, project director, noted that the transfer of mobile clinics is an important support for remote communities.
«The transfer of mobile clinics is part of a comprehensive support for communities to ensure access to quality healthcare services. These vehicles will provide important medical care to residents of the most remote and vulnerable communities. We have also paid considerable attention to training medical professionals and community managers», she said.
The mobile team will provide a wide range of medical services, including consultations, diagnostics, laboratory services, ultrasound, vaccinations, eye care, ECG, as well as maternal and child care.
Earlier it was reported that the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine, with the support of the Danish government, had donated three special vehicles to Mykolaiv region.
