This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
«More than 1,891 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of May 20, 2024, according to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 546 children were killed and more than 1,345 were injured of various degrees of severity,» the message states.
Children were most affected in Donetsk region — 531, Kharkiv — 373, Kherson — 151, Dnipropetrovsk — 139, Kyiv — 130, Zaporizhzhia — 108, Mykolaiv — 105.
We will remind, on May 14, as a result of shelling by the Russian army in the city of Kharkiv, two girls aged 8 and 12 and two boys aged 12 and 14 were injured.
Recently, a 7-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl were injured as a result of a Russian air strike with a KAB-type air bomb on Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy region.
