On November 28, Russian troops attacked the critical infrastructure of Ukraine and hit energy sector facilities 12 times.
According to the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, almost 90% of Kalibr and X-101 cruise missiles were destroyed. In addition, three guided air missiles and 35 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down, more than 60 were lost in location.
The agency said that recently the Russians have been using a large number of missiles and drones. In some directions, they often exceed the number of means of cover.
«All this significantly complicates the operation of Soviet-made anti-aircraft missile systems that are in service with the Air Force. Western systems work much more efficiently in such conditions, which in Ukraine are not enough to reliably cover hundreds of critical infrastructure facilities,» the informants say.
In addition, the occupiers use modern means of air attack and constantly improve them. We are talking about the shooting of thermal and radar traps, as well as EW means of personal protection, installed directly on the missiles.
