The Russian army shelled Kherson. Illustrative photo: DumskayaOn 18 January, the Russian military shelled the village of Stanislav in the Kherson region with artillery. The shelling killed a 71-year-old local resident.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
«A local resident died in Stanislav as a result of Russian aggression. As a result of the morning artillery shelling, a 71-year-old man sustained fatal injuries», the regional military administration said in a statement.
They noted that at the time of the enemy attack, the deceased was on the street. The regional administration expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
As a reminder, on the morning of 18 January, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. As a result of ballistic missile attacks, four people were killed and three others were injured.
