On 10 May, Russian troops shelled the Mykolaiv region twice. Three people are known to have been injured.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

The first shelling targeted the Mykolaiv district. The Russians struck a civilian vehicle with an FPV drone. Two people were injured in the strike — a 68-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman.

At 14:40, enemy forces reportedly attacked the village of Ivanivka in the Kutsurub community using a «Molniia» UAV. A 19-year-old man was injured in the shelling. Medical staff currently assess his condition as moderate.

In the evening, the Mykolaiv Regional Police showed the aftermath of the strike. It was documented by officers from the investigative and operational group of Police Station №7 of the Mykolaiv District Police Department.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the war crime under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The police have urged citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to head immediately to shelters in the event of a drone attack. Law enforcement officers advise people to go down to basements or other protected rooms without windows.

People are also asked to avoid staying on the streets, on balconies, near windows and in courtyards during times of danger.

Separately, law enforcement officers emphasise that one must not touch drone debris, as it may be explosive. If such debris is found, one must move to a safe distance and report the discovery by calling 102 or 101.

As is known, a three-day ceasefire has been introduced between Russia and Ukraine on 9, 10 and 11 May.
