The Mykolaiv Central Court remanded a resident of the Kherson Region into custody, who is suspected of collaborating with the Russians and conducting so-called «filtration measures.»
This was reported in the Central Court of Mykolaiv.
It is noted that during the period of temporary occupation of one of the villages of the Stanislav community in the Kherson region, a local resident helped the armed formation of the so-called «DNR». He was on duty at checkpoints in a Russian uniform and conducted «filtering measures» to expose the participants of the ATO, representatives of the resistance, and the Ukrainian underground. In addition, according to law enforcement officers, he took property from people who tried to leave the territory controlled by Ukraine.
«In addition, according to the materials of the petition, the suspect provided the representatives of the aggressor country with the addresses of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participants of the anti-terrorist operation, persons who provided assistance to the Defense Forces of Ukraine, which subsequently led to their illegal detention,» the reports say.
In court, the man denied his guilt. However, more than 20 witnesses confirm his guilt. After hearing the opinions of the parties and examining the materials of the petition, the investigating judge decided to send the suspect to custody without the right to bail.
We will remind you that last year the law enforcement officers of the Mykolaiv Oblast uncovered 81 facts of collaborative activity.
