Vitaly Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said that during the shelling of Mykolaiv on the night of November 11, the Russian military used the thermobaric type of charge of Shahed drones».

This indicates that the occupiers purposefully hit residential areas of the city, Vitalii Kim explained on the air of the telethon, NikVesti writes.

«In my personal opinion, the Russians, like a year ago, started using tactics to intimidate peaceful people. Why do I draw such conclusions? Because in today's Shaheds, the charge was probably of a different type — thermobaric. It was aimed exclusively at the residential area in order to cause more damage to them. That is, they use special explosives that cause small, but very extensive damage. As I understand it, the story is the same with Kryvyi Rih and other cities of Ukraine. This is happening in order to increase social stress, tension and terrorize the civilian population,» Vitalii Kim said.

He also urged residents of Mykolaiv to respond to air raid signals and stay in shelters.

«My recommendation is to respond now to alarms, especially in front-line cities where the threat is greater, because civilian neighborhoods can be the targets,» he added.
