He wrote about this on Truth Social.
«I just finished a very good phone conversation with President Zelenskyy. It lasted about an hour. Much of the discussion was based on yesterday's conversation with President Putin to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs. We are on the right track, and I will ask Secretary Rubio and National Security Adviser Volz to provide an accurate description of the issues discussed. That statement will be released shortly», he wrote on Truth Social.
What is known about Trump's phone call with Putin?
The phone call lasted 1.5 hours. During the call, Russian President Vladimir Putin supported US President Donald Trump's proposal to temporarily suspend strikes on energy infrastructure for 30 days and gave the appropriate command to the military.
It also became known that peace talks will begin with technical discussions on the implementation of a naval truce in the Black Sea. According to the White House, negotiations on a naval truce will begin in the Middle East in the near future.
