For the first time, Ukraine used a new drone-missile «Palianytsia» of its own production.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address on Independence Day.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the first successful combat use of this new weapon took place today. He emphasized that «Palianytsia» is a weapon of a completely new class, created in Ukraine, and called it a new method of retribution to the aggressor.

The President also noted that the target was successfully hit, and thanked the developers, manufacturers and the Ukrainian military.

In addition, he noted that it will be difficult for Russia to even pronounce the name of the weapon, it is difficult to counter it, but it is very easy to understand what it was used for.

We will remind you that in April, another plant of the German company Quantum-Systems GmbH, which specializes in the production of drones, was opened in Ukraine. It is planned to produce 1,000 drones per year, as well as to produce spare parts.
