200 million hryvnias will be spent to build a new building in Mykolaiv Regional Psychiatric Hospital №1, which was damaged by rocket fire.
This was said by the deputy head of the regional health care department, Oleh Babin, during a briefing on Tuesday, September 10, NikVesti reports.
The blow to the medical facility came in March 2022. It was only possible to avoid casualties then because the patients and staff were in the bomb shelter.

«In 2022, at the beginning of the war, we had a flight over the territory of the regional psychiatric hospital. There was a completely destroyed medical building. Currently, a project for its restoration has been prepared. She will provide assistance to patients in a completely different scope. Construction will cost about 200 million hryvnias. We have almost received the funds, construction will begin soon,» said Oleh Babin.
We will remind you that at the end of August, the department of urban planning, architecture, capital construction and support of projects of the Mykolaiv RMA concluded two contracts for the reconstruction of the buildings of the Bashtanka multidisciplinary hospital. The total amount of concluded contracts is 314.2 million hryvnias.
