The village of Chervona Dolyna, Mykolaiv region, is planning to build a new school to replace the lyceum building destroyed by Russian shelling. The village council is currently looking for a donor to finance the work.
The relevant information was posted on the website of the state DREAM system in January 2025, according to NikVesti.
On the site of the destroyed school, they want to build a two- or three-storey building in the shape of the letter «П». On the territory of the new lyceum, they plan to build several buildings: for high school and junior high school with open terraces, as well as for general use.
In the basement of the school, they want to build a radiation shelter for 330 people.
Among other things, they plan to build a garage for a school bus, erect engineering structures (a modular solid fuel boiler house, fire tanks, storm water treatment facilities), make playgrounds, and comprehensively improve the territory of the lyceum, arrange a school fence, retaining walls and drainage systems.
So far, there is no donor who has responded to this proposal, and the DREAM system does not have information on the cost of these works or project documentation. However, it is known that the savED charitable foundation is involved in the restoration of the school in Chervona Dolyna. After all, 154 children in the village need access to education. The foundation, in particular, created a playground for a temporary school there.
As a reminder, Chervona Dolyna is a village in the Bashtanka district that was shelled for 8 months without ceasing, and only in August 2023 people began to return there to repair not only residential buildings but also administrative buildings.
A lyceum in the village of Chervona Dolyna was destroyed by a Russian C-300 missile in March 2022. The institution is beyond repair and needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
