The Ukrainian military has launched a missile attack on a parking lot of Russian Mi-8 and Ka-52 helicopters in the Belgorod region.

According to the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation was carried out in cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate, missile troops and artillery. HIMARS ammunition was used for the strike, each containing 180,000 tungsten fragments.

As a result, two Ka-52 attack helicopters used for reconnaissance and attacks, as well as two Mi-8 transport helicopters carrying personnel and cargo, were destroyed. The helicopters were deployed in a camouflaged position to move quickly and attack Ukrainian forces.

As of 24 March, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of 335 Russian helicopters since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
