In September 2025, a delegation from the United States will arrive in Ukraine to look for investment projects to fill the US-Ukraine Reconstruction Fund.

This was announced by Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksii Sobolev during the presentation of the new government's action plan, hromadske reports.

He noted that work on the launch of the fund continues every week, and the first meeting of its Board is scheduled for September. The first technical decisions will be made then.

The Minister also spoke about the agreements with the United States on the initial funding of the fund on both sides. The Ukrainian government is already preparing a list of projects that could be invested in over the next 12 months.

«A large delegation from the United States will come in September to travel around Ukraine to look at such projects. Therefore, this is all very practical, and we hope that this year it will be clear that the fund will make its first investments with the United States,» said Oleksii Sobolev.

As a reminder, the then Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent signed an agreement between the two countries to establish the Reconstruction Investment Fund.

Kyiv and Washington agreed to create an Investment Fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine to attract international investment. Yuliia Svyrydenko noted that the agreement provides for mutually beneficial conditions for both countries.
