On Facebook, residents of the city reported that unknown persons had cut down trees near the building. People call what happened «barbarism» and «crime» and are outraged that the trees were cut down to the root, although, according to some residents, they could have been transplanted.
City council deputies appealed to the State Environmental Inspection to verify the legality of the felling and calculate the possible damages.

Photo: Facebook page Voznesensk — the city of dreamsAt the same time, in the comments under the post, representatives of the land relations department of the Voznesensk City Council reported that the land plot in question had been transferred to private ownership by decision of the general meeting of the condominium association as the owner. According to them, the new owner assured that after the completion of construction work, he plans to restore the green area and improve the territory.
At the same time, residents note that even if the land is now private, this does not mean that trees can simply be cut down. This requires official documents — an inspection report, a decision of the executive committee, and a special permit. If such documents are not available, the felling may be deemed illegal.
People are also discussing whether it was legal to transfer this plot to private ownership in the first place — whether the rights of the co-owners of the house were violated and whether everything was done according to the rules.
The final assessment will be made by the State Environmental Inspection after an inspection.
We remind you that NikVesti wrote about how several maple trees were completely cut down on the central street of Kibryk in Voznesensk. Only cut stumps remain in place of the four trees.
After the publication, the environmental inspection issued a fine to the local utility company.
