A mother with four children aged 7 to 12 and a 17-year-old teenager returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of Kherson RMA, reported this.

For a long time, a mother with four children could not leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine, but when proper conditions were created for them, the family immediately agreed. Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets said that one of the girls needs to work with a psychologist, because her mother noticed the girl crying in her sleep.

«The children's mother reported how in their village they treated those who refuse to receive Russian passports, how they threaten when children refuse to go to a Russian school, and how the Russians beat their father in front of the children,» said Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets

A 17-year-old boy also returned to Ukraine on his own. He refused to receive a Russian passport and hid from the occupation authorities.

«He could be forced to join the armed ranks of the Russian Federation. Therefore, in order not to take up arms and fight against his own people, he decided to leave for the territory under the control of the Motherland,» noted Dmytro Lubinets.

All the children are safe now. They are provided with medical, psychological, social and humanitarian assistance.

We will remind you that a minor child who had not seen his parents for two years was recently returned from the occupation.
