More than 2 thousand Ukrainian children became victims of Russian aggression

In Ukraine, it is currently known about more than 2 thousand 23 children who suffered due to Russian aggression. Of them, 561 children died, more than 1,462 were injured.

This is reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is indicated that children were most affected in the following regions: Donetsk — 564, Kharkiv — 406, Kherson — 155, Dnipropetrovsk — 158, Kyiv — 131, Zaporizhia — 121.

The Prosecutor General's Office reported that on July 14, there was shelling in Myrnohrad, Donetsk region, as a result of which a 16-year-old girl was injured.

Also, two children — a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl — were injured in Budy, Kharkiv Region, on July 13. On the same day, a 16-year-old girl was wounded by Russian shelling of the village of Chornobaivka in the Kherson region, and an 11-year-old boy was wounded by a rocket attack on the village of Chornomorske in the Odesa region.

Earlier it was reported that the European Union will help return Ukrainian children illegally taken to the territory of Russia.
