Today, September 15, Russian troops attacked a multi-story residential building in Kharkiv.

This was announced by the Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

«Fire, destruction. Information about the victims will be available later,» said the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, 25 victims are currently known, three of them children.

The search and rescue operation in Kharkiv continues. According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, one entrance to the building was destroyed, and at least 1,500 windows were damaged. Dozens of damaged cars.

«Three people are in serious condition. 30 wounded in total. There may be people under the rubble. Residents are being evacuated. Professional, humanitarian and international and Ukrainian organizations are working on the spot,» said Oleh Syniehubov.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, among the adults, the victims were aged between 33 and 86 years. In addition, three children aged 1, 4, and 12 years were among the victims.

At the moment, 14 people are hospitalized. The rescue operation is ongoing.

It will be recalled that on September 1, the Russian military launched 10 strikes on Kharkiv. As of 16:00, 41 victims are known.
