Consequences of shelling in Mykolaiv region, photo by NikVestiOn 26 December, the Russian army attacked two communities in the Mykolaiv region.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
It is noted that at 16:25, the Russians fired artillery on the waters of the Ochakiv community.
Also, at 16:25 and 19:17, the Russian army attacked the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. There were no civilian casualties.
As a reminder, on 25 December, the Russian army shelled Mykolaiv region with a mortar.
The Russian army also attacked Ukrainian cities on Christmas Day, 25 December, with missiles and drones. The energy sector was again targeted by Russian strikes.
Due to the massive Russian attack on Ukrainian cities, consumers in Mykolaiv and the region began to have their electricity cut off on the morning of 25 December according to hourly blackout schedules.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the massive shelling of Ukraine by Russian troops on 25 December 2024. He stressed that Putin had deliberately chosen Christmas to attack.
