A resident of one of the houses said that as a result of the strike on Mykolaiv, her house suffered significant damage, including broken windows and doors.
A correspondent of NikVesti talked to residents of a house that was damaged by a nighttime drone attack in Mykolaiv.
«The first sound of Shahed — we were sitting in the corridor. Then the second, third, fourth... And we heard the fifth one clearly — it was flying right at us. I realised that it would not fly over the house. And then there was an explosion — everything fell apart. The windows were shattered, the door was blown out into the corridor, and there were broken windows in the wall. In the kitchen, everything was shattered, and the window was gone. And I don't know how we survived... Probably, God Himself saved us. There were two large windows in the room, and the blast wave threw them over us. I still can't understand how it happened», said Svitlana.
Nataliia, another resident and owner of a damaged shop, said her apartment was heavily damaged and her business, which she has run since 2002, was destroyed.
«I saw Shahed drone approaching and managed to hide to avoid getting caught in the rubble. As a result of the explosion, the balcony block was blown out and the apartment was damaged. I lost my job and income, the goods in the warehouse were burnt and the shop was destroyed. I have been running my business since 2002, and this has never happened before. The windows in the apartment were smashed, the ceiling collapsed, and the chandelier is hanging on the wires», Nataliia says.
