On Thursday, 27 March, two people were killed and five others were injured in the Russian shelling of Kherson, including two medics who were helping the victims.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the attack lasted an hour and a half. The strikes damaged apartment blocks and the railway station building.

«For about an hour and a half, Russians shelled the central part of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, the railway station building and apartment buildings were damaged», he said.

According to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson RMA, a carriage of the Kherson-Lviv train was damaged by the shelling.

«The shelling damaged a carriage of the train №110 Kherson — Lviv, and the train departed with a delay of an hour and a half. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Employees and passengers were in the shelter. We will replace the damaged carriage at the nearest stations with a backup one», he wrote.
