Ukrainian Armed Forces shoot down over 1.4 thousand Russian drones over Kherson region in a week

Last week, the Ukrainian military destroyed more than 1,400 Russian drones that attacked the right bank of the Kherson region.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the region suffered more than 1,600 drone strikes in total, of which 87% were neutralised. Over 500 drones were shot down over Kherson alone.

«The effectiveness of suppression of Russian «wings» is 87%. We continue to work together with the military to strengthen the protection of the region», he said.

As a reminder, on 30 March, Russian troops attacked 33 settlements in Kherson region with artillery and aircraft. As a result of Russian shelling, 11 people were injured.
